Our presence at big venues on International Yoga Day started last year with a program at JNTU on June 21, 2018 and a day earlier at Amberpet grounds. Eminent citizens from the region including current and past union ministers Sri Kishan Reddy and Sri Bandaru Dattatreya and others watched our performance at Amberpet. Yoga guru Sri Jagan Guruji, past Malkajgiri MP Sri C Mallareddy and retired IPS officer Sri VV Laxminarayana were among others who witnessed performance of our kids on at JNTU. The tradition continued this year.

It was another big venue at Sanjeevaiah Park on the shores of the beautiful Hussain Sagar lake which hosts the largest flag of India holdings it high and visible from miles away. The event was organized by Jai Bharath foundation under the leadership and guidance of Sri Sreedhar Reddy, Sri Gautam Rao, MLC Sri N Ramachandar Rao, and BJP National General Secretary Sri P Muralidhar Rao. They all watched the proceedings with great interest. 

Our kids had a gala time when they were all specially invited to come on to the stage and get a group photo with the prominent leaders. It must be noted that all the kids are from Government High School, Amberpet/Himayathnagar. The chief patron of this school is Sri Kishan Reddy who is the current Union Minister of State for Home Affairs. He was thrilled beyond belief the last time when the kids performed advanced yoga asanas and formations at the Amberpet MCH grounds. In an unexpected gesture, the leaders wanted us to talk about Soham Academy and how it handles the needs of kids. I spoke for a few minutes while complimenting the efforts of our yoga gurus Vignatha and Bharath.

Later we had a good time in the park, had sumptuous breakfast and left for another big event to celebrate International Yoga Day at Microsoft.
