030 – Sri Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations

Taking children out for celebrations is key to make them understand how the world works. We make use of every opportunity to take our kids to places of interest, especially on important days.

We celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the Venugopala Swamy Temple and Goshala. About 35 kids joined us on this hour long drive to Gandipet Area. (more…)

029 – Peace Walk at KBR Park

Our kids participated in a peace walk organized by Rotary club. It was a long walk around the KBR park Area.

Rotary club arranged a bus for our kids for our travel to and from the venue. It was a lot of early morning fun.

At the end of the event, the organizers asked if any of the kids want to say something or even sing songs. Our kids were waiting for an opportunity like this. (more…)

028 – Yoga on Independence Day

This new batch entered into the yoga classes with a lot to prove themselves. This is especially because of the high expectations set on us due to our wonderful past performances at public venues like the iFocus, Love Yoga Foundation, Amberpet Grounds and Yoga Vignana Kendra. This new batch of kids did not disappoint. They were up to the mark and performed well.

We continued the same theme that we followed for all our batches for this course. Quiz programs, word games, sentence corrections, translations, story telling and conversations were all part of the program.

026 – Music Program at Soham

July 22, 2018

Connecting our children to our cultural roots is one of the key goals of our academy. As part of this goal, we invited three well known singers to our academy. They were to present their skills and inspire our kids to know more about music and singing.

During the demonstration of use of kanjeera, two of our kids responded well. The visitors decided to give away two new kanjeeras to them. It was a nice gesture from them. Our kids were thrilled too. Hopefully it will ignite a new interest in music and our culture.
