In a huge step in the history of Soham Academy of Human Excellence we have established our own space in the virtual world. We have been around for over two years. But it is only from today we can boast of our own virtual home.

It is another first for our Soham Academy of Human Excellence. We organized a drawing competition exclusively for the kids of Soham Academy of Human Excellence on the occasion of Teachers Day on Sep 5, 2018. It was exclusive because they were trained with certain special skills and they were tested on the same. We hope to give them specialized training in the future. This raw talent should certainly be encouraged.
Taking children out for celebrations is key to make them understand how the world works. We make use of every opportunity to take our kids to places of interest, especially on important days.
We celebrated Sri Krishna Janmashtami at the Venugopala Swamy Temple and Goshala. About 35 kids joined us on this hour long drive to Gandipet Area. (more…)
Our kids participated in a peace walk organized by Rotary club. It was a long walk around the KBR park Area.
Rotary club arranged a bus for our kids for our travel to and from the venue. It was a lot of early morning fun.
At the end of the event, the organizers asked if any of the kids want to say something or even sing songs. Our kids were waiting for an opportunity like this. (more…)

Connecting our children to our cultural roots is one of the key goals of our academy. As part of this goal, we invited three well known singers to our academy. They were to present their skills and inspire our kids to know more about music and singing.
During the demonstration of use of kanjeera, two of our kids responded well. The visitors decided to give away two new kanjeeras to them. It was a nice gesture from them. Our kids were thrilled too. Hopefully it will ignite a new interest in music and our culture.
