We humans separate ourselves from other animals in our pursuits that are far beyond the basic needs of food, shelter and clothing. What drives us is our desire to excel, to shape our own destiny, and to be better than the generations that came before us. It is only our species that can aspire to make this beautiful planet of ours a place that will be better than the way we found it.

At Soham Academy of Human Excellence, it is our constant endeavour to make this world a better place for all beings. It starts at an individual level and later spreads to our homes, our community, our state, our nation and our world. Our focus is always at an individual level. A vast number of individuals must succeed in their honest pursuits of human excellence. It is these altruistic individuals who can usher in a safe and peaceful world. Our human excellence component focuses on creating such individuals. It is the underlying glue that binds all our programs. 

Our programs towards this end include:

• classes on classical music and dance
• painting and drawing classes
• special sessions to perpetuate our glorious culture and tradition
• structured reading programs of various levels
• literary clubs with an aim to enhance communication skills
• psychology classes for mental well being

Our kids learn to sing songs that are passed on to us from generation to generation from times immemorial. We teach them ancient Samskrit slokas, stotras, and Vedic hymns.

Whenever and wherever an opportunity arises we give them a platform to exhibit their talents and knowledge.
