About this Opportunity
Every year, hundreds of students from government schools come together to participate in Soham Academy’s Inter-School Yoga Championship under the “Yoga for Mind and Body” initiative.
For many students, this is much more than a competition.
It is an opportunity to step onto a stage, showcase months of effort, gain confidence, meet students from other schools, and experience the joy of achievement.
As a volunteer, you become part of the team that makes this transformative experience possible.

Who Can Apply?
Anyone who:
- Enjoys working with children and young people initiatives
- Has an interest in coordinating yoga, sports, events, leadership, or community service
No prior event management experience required.
What you'll do
Based on your interests and availability, you may support in:
Student Preparation
- Helping students prepare presentations related to yoga
- Guiding students during practice sessions
- Encouraging participation and confidence
Event Operations
- Registration and participant coordination
- Stage and venue management
- Crowd and student movement coordination
- Timekeeping and event flow management
- Volunteer coordination
Competition Support
- Assisting judges and scoring teams
- Recording scores and results
- Managing competition categories
- Ensuring smooth participant transitions
Outreach & Mobilization
- Supporting school communication
- Helping spread awareness about the event
- Encouraging participation from schools and communities
General Event Support
- Photography and documentation
- Hospitality and guest coordination
- Certificate and prize distribution
- Any other support required for successful execution
Soham Academy will
- Provide volunteer orientation

- Support you throughout the event
