005 – Summer Math Program

April 5, 2017 to June 1, 2017

This was our first attempt at bridging the math gap. Kids showed up on almost all the days of their summer holidays to learn math. We tried many news ways of bridging the gap between what the kids must know and what they know. Apart from covering some basic math, we uncovered the concepts of Progressions, Linear Equations, and a few other topics that were part of their upcoming tenth class syllabus. At times we went out for an outing to a nearby place or just brought of bunch of cycles to let children learn to ride one – all this just to kill the routine on certain days. On the last day of the summer camp, we decided to treat their interest in math with a movie!
