Enthused by our yoga performance at the school on the Republic Day and later on the Science Day, we decided to take our yoga students to competitions.
Our first ever yoga competition was at Nrupatunga School organized by Patanjali. We took 11 girls and 8 boys to the competition. We did much better than what we expected. Two of our girls won their first and second prizes in their categories. The prizes were announced much later. The certificates and reward items were sent to us. At a small event within the school premises we gave them away to our winners.
This is a crowning glory moment for our kids – whose talents are winning prizes at the competitions.
Below are some of the pics from the event. It is evident from the pics that our kids are capable of performing some complex asanas with ease.
