Our Soham Champs program opened up a number of opportunities for us to do creative work. After completing Practical Robotics program at 5 schools simultaneously we were pumped up to have a grand exhibition. We brought all the kids from all the 5 schools under one roof at Nallakunta Government High School. To say that we have received an overwhelming response would be an understatement. Kids and teachers from all the schools showed huge enthusiasm to participate in this robotics exhibition.

To start with, the hosting school, led by Smt. Sara Mani, the school HM, made elaborate arrangements for the exhibition. They gave us four rooms – one for the robotics experiments, one for the robotics projects, one for the future tech areas, and finally one for the visiting school children and teachers.

We all felt such robotics knowledge for students of 8th and 9th standards is a need of the hour. We feel fortunate that we are able to bring this knowledge free of cost to government and budget schools.

Using this occasion we launched a new book on Practical Robotics Using Arduino.

The learnt to chant 63 Samskrit shlokas, highest ever for a school so far. We asked a group of students, teachers and visitors to challenge these kids. When pointed to any word from any of the 63 shlokas, they were able to recall the entire shloka.  They chanted all the requested slokas effortlessly and passed in flying colours.
