Our Soham Champs program opened up a number of opportunities for us to do creative work. After completing Practical Robotics program at 5 schools simultaneously we were pumped up to have a grand exhibition. We brought all the kids from all the 5 schools under one roof at Nallakunta Government High School. To say that we have received an overwhelming response would be an understatement. Kids and teachers from all the schools showed huge enthusiasm to participate in this robotics exhibition. (more…)

059 – Practical Robotics at Two Amberpet Schools

A dream start for our Soham Champs program. We have been working on a plan to take our work to at least nine schools this year. We reached our first milestone of completing Practical Robotics class at two of our schools. Over 50 students from these two schools – Government High School, CPL, Amberpet and Hymavati High School, Premnagar, Amberpet – completed their level 1 and level 2 classes that spanned over 4 weeks.

053 – Summer Camp

April 15, 2019 to May 31, 2019

2019 summer is eventful in many ways. Our 2018 summer camp gave us a number of insights on what to offer in 2019. So this year we offered a total of six areas in which we can train our kids during our 2019 summer camp. These include Practical Robotics Level 2, Practical Robotics Independent Project, Learn and Sing over 12 Songs, Accomplish Typing with a minimum speed of 25 words per minute, Independent Drawing Assignments, and Advanced Yogasanas and Formations. 050 – Robotics Assessments

Our kids have been gaining considerable strength in building simple electronics projects that are based on the Arduino platform. Their work started in October last year. They all went on a limbo owing to their public examinations. They came back with vengeance during the summer to pick up from where they left off! In the meantime their juniors who were in ninth standard did considerable work and even participated in the Science Day event. Their seniors did not have such luck as they were away for their tenth class public examinations.
