Over the weekend on Aug 25, 2019, we conducted our second kabaddi tournament exclusively for girls from 5 schools. Over 80 girls participated in this event. It was a fantastic tournament. The kids enjoyed a lot. Some girls got injured but refused to leave the court. The first aid kit was used several times! 🙁
But in the end, they all played like real champs. A very proud moment for all of us.

Over the last two months, we trained kids from four schools in chanting slokas and in singing classical songs. This training is part of our Soham Champs program. We promised them that we will take them to a prominent place to chant shlokas and sing songs in public. As promised we took them to Sri Venugopapla Swamy Temple and Goshala. It was a bumper event. We visited the same temple last year too. Our kids had a great time – all the 70 of them!! (more…)
With the launch of Soham Champs program, we find ourselves being active at multiple school on important days. This time it is 2019 Independence Day. Two schools included yoga formations as part of their I-Day celebrations and one school included a human excellence program.
Our Soham Academy kids, 18 girls and 11 boys, gave a stunning performance at Ravindra Bharathi. It was on the occasion of Mythree Varadhi program organized by iFocus.
At Soham we do not miss an opportunity to participate in any of the yoga competitions. Without much loss of humility, we are also very proud to say that we do not come back empty handed. 8 of our kids, 4 boys and 4 girls participated in a yoga competition organized by Telangana Yoga Cultural Association in SR Nagar in Hyderabad.
