Another huge day at Soham Academy of Human Excellence. 200 participants at the 2019 Hyderabad Freedom Run. 200 students from 8 schools and recent gradates from our own Soham Academy participated in this grand event. 50 of them in 10K and 150 of them in 5K. How is this such a huge event for us? Last year we took only 30 kids to this annual event. A year before just 15. 200 this year is a huge leap. This is a big feather in our cap. (more…)
Vedic Vidyalayam in Sitaphalmandi is one of our supported schools under Soham Champs program. This school took maximum advantage of our Soham Champs program. We completed Yoga and Human Excellence program at this school. In addition this school also participated in our sports program in full strength.

Bestest Ever Day for Soham!!
We have been preparing for this zonal kabaddi tournament for over two months now. Practice at 3 different grounds every day from 6 am to 7.15 am. For both boys and girls. We gave them enough practice tournaments too. Their efforts bore fruit where it mattered the most. We trained our kids in 4 kabaddi categories – Under 17 Boys, Under 14 Boys, Under 17 Girls and Under 14 Girls. Our schools are clear champs in three categories and earned an additional 3rd place in one category. We also won two third place positions in two categories in Kho Kho as well. Over the weekend on Aug 25, 2019, we conducted our second kabaddi tournament exclusively for girls from 5 schools. Over 80 girls participated in this event. It was a fantastic tournament. The kids enjoyed a lot. Some girls got injured but refused to leave the court. The first aid kit was used several times! 🙁
But in the end, they all played like real champs. A very proud moment for all of us.
