079 – First Inter School Yoga Competitions at Soham
It was a historic day at Soham. Mark the date friends – December 21, 2019.
At Soham we are now capable of organizing our own yoga competitions. Until now, we took our children to external yoga competitions. Now, we have children coming to the yoga competitions that we are conducting. (more…)
078 – 2019 State Level Yoga Competitions
Soham kids have been participating in Yoga competitions at regular intervals. Our first participation was in Patanjali Yoga Competitions in March 2018, later it was at Hanuman Vyayamsala in November 2018, followed by Telangana Yoga Cultural Association in July 2019. We participate in most major yoga competitions in and around Hyderabad. One of our kids was later selected for participation in the National Olympiad in Delhi.
This latest competition is at the state level where our participation was bigger and better this time. This was in Siddipet on December 14 & 15, 2019.

077 – Gita Jayanthi at TV5
As part of our Human Excellence program, we have been training our kids in chanting several slokas including those from Bhagavad Gita. Our children chanted on stage at their own schools as well as in some public venues at Akshaya Patra and Sri Krishnashtami celebrations.
Our kids took part in a Gita Jayanti program for the first time. What was supposed to be a Gita Shobhaa Yatra ended up being much more memorable than ever. (more…)
076 – Yoga at 14th Anniversary of iFocus
We are in regular attendance at iFocus events. We were there for the 100th Super Sunday, 2018 Mythree Varadhi, and now at the 14th Anniversary. At all these events our kids presented a very well received yoga performance.
This time it included a participation of nearly 50 kids. This time they used small sized pots as part of the formations. Selected yogasanas that were already very complicated were made even more complicated by performing them while taking full support of an earthen pot. It must be delicately balanced that too in full view of over 2000 members in the auditorium. Our kids did exceptionally well.
