077 – Gita Jayanthi at TV5
As part of our Human Excellence program, we have been training our kids in chanting several slokas including those from Bhagavad Gita. Our children chanted on stage at their own schools as well as in some public venues at Akshaya Patra and Sri Krishnashtami celebrations.
Our kids took part in a Gita Jayanti program for the first time. What was supposed to be a Gita Shobhaa Yatra ended up being much more memorable than ever. (more…)
076 – Yoga at 14th Anniversary of iFocus
We are in regular attendance at iFocus events. We were there for the 100th Super Sunday, 2018 Mythree Varadhi, and now at the 14th Anniversary. At all these events our kids presented a very well received yoga performance.
This time it included a participation of nearly 50 kids. This time they used small sized pots as part of the formations. Selected yogasanas that were already very complicated were made even more complicated by performing them while taking full support of an earthen pot. It must be delicately balanced that too in full view of over 2000 members in the auditorium. Our kids did exceptionally well.
071 – Practical Robotics Exhibition – 5 Schools
Another first for Soham Academy of Human Excellence. Our Soham Champs program opened up a number of opportunities for us to do creative work. After completing Practical Robotics program at 5 schools simultaneously we were pumped up to have a grand exhibition. We brought all the kids from all the 5 schools under one roof at Nallakunta Government High School. To say that we have received an overwhelming response would be an understatement. Kids and teachers from all the schools showed huge enthusiasm to participate in this robotics exhibition. (more…)
070 – Soham Day at Vedic Vidyalayam
Vedic Vidyalayam in Sitaphalmandi is one of our supported schools under Soham Champs program. This school took maximum advantage of our Soham Champs program. We completed Yoga and Human Excellence program at this school. In addition this school also participated in our sports program in full strength.
